Prompt-led creation and editing
Create from text or explain what to preserve, combine or change when a workflow uses references.
Nano Banana image generation
Choose from five Nano Banana workflows, describe the image, and add references when the selected workflow supports them. Kie processes and returns the result for private preview and download.

The model family, explained
This page combines five Nano Banana workflows: Original text-to-image, Original Edit, Pro, Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana 2 Lite.
Use Original for prompt-only generation or Original Edit for source-based edits. Pro prioritizes detail and control, Nano Banana 2 is the latest general-purpose option, and 2 Lite is designed for faster, lower-cost 1K iterations.
Reference support varies by workflow: Original accepts none; Original Edit requires 1–10 images; Pro accepts up to 8; Nano Banana 2 up to 14; and 2 Lite up to 10.
One workspace, five workflows
Compare five generation and editing paths at the point of creation instead of maintaining separate forms.
Create from text or explain what to preserve, combine or change when a workflow uses references.
Original Edit supports 10 images, Pro 8, Nano Banana 2 14 and 2 Lite 10; Original text-to-image uses none.
The form adapts the ratio, resolution and output controls to the selected workflow.
Kie processes the task in the background while the server stores the finished image privately.
Three simple steps
Pick the right workflow, give it a useful brief, and stay within its reference-image limit.
Select Original text-to-image, Original Edit, Pro, Nano Banana 2 or the faster 2 Lite option.
Add a prompt, upload only the references allowed by that workflow, and select its supported canvas settings.
Submit the task, follow its progress, then preview or download the completed image.
References work best when the prompt explains the intended relationship between them and the final image.
Questions, answered
The picker includes Original text-to-image, Original Edit, Pro, Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana 2 Lite.
Original text-to-image accepts no references. Original Edit requires 1–10 JPG, PNG or WebP images up to 10 MB each; Pro accepts up to 8, Nano Banana 2 up to 14 and 2 Lite up to 10, each up to 30 MB.
Timing depends on the selected version, resolution, provider queue and reference files. The page keeps checking the asynchronous task.
Reference uploads are temporary task inputs. The completed image is downloaded into private media storage and served through the authenticated output link.
Compare the five workflows, upload only the references they support, and create an image online through Kie.
